Side by side comparison with similar makeup applicators I spotted in Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Theirs sells for $5.49 while the Avon makeup sponge sells for just $2.99. The only difference I could see is in the packaging. Avon's sponge doesn't come in fancy packaging. It comes in a plastic wrapper vs. a clear box.
